Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. released the industry’s first high-intensity white power SMD LEDs in the CLCC-6 and CLCC-6 flat ceramic packages to offer InGaN/TAG on sapphire technology for high optical power from 2240mcd to 5600mcd.

High current WLED flash drivers from AnalogicTech

AnalogicTech has introduced two additions to its growing family of high current White LED (WLED) flash drivers. Supporting either two WLEDs at up to 750mA each or one WLED at up to 1.5A and coming in a compact 3x3mm TDFN package, the AAT1271 and AAT1272 dual-channel boost converters are the first devices of their type in AnalogicTech's WLED driver product line to feature the company's proprietary AS2Cwire and industry-standard I2C interface respectively.

ON Semiconductor has expanded its portfolio of low dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulators for automotive electronics modules that require very low ignition-off currents. Qualified to AEC-Q100 and operating across a wide temperature range, the new NCV86xx LDOs combine high levels of on-board functionality with typical quiescent currents (Iq) as low as 22 µA.
